The first International Conference on Advanced Surface Enhancement (INCASE) will be held in Singapore from September 10th to 12th, 2019. The conference is being jointly organized by the Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC), Metal Finishing News (MFN) and Coventry University.
There are five broad discussion themes that encompass the latest developments in specific areas of surface enhancement, including advances in measurement techniques, surface finishing, and conventional as well as novel processing methods for fatigue enhancement. As manufacturing rapidly moves towards higher automation and Industrie 4.0, another key focus of INCASE2019 will be on evaluating whether the surface enhancement community is adequately prepared for this transformation. With active participation of industry and academia, and several keynote lectures from renowned experts in the field already planned. This INCASE2019 will bring forth innovative ideas to address the challenges that industry faces today, and inspire future inventions.
